It was severely abused by guests in the past, and since we do not use it during our stays, we decided not to replace it. There are chickens and roosters in the neighborhood. They can be noisy. I do not have control over who has them, or the wild ones. The electric goes out from time to time. We do not have a generator. When we occupy the home, we go without until it comes back on.
